Police in Bushenyi District are investigating circumstances under which a 50 year old man was murdered due to domestic violence.
Asaph Muhangi 50 a resident of Omunjeru cell Rwentuha town council, Bushenyi District was murdered by family members over yet to be identified reasons.
David Mutambi aged 45 years a resident of the above named address who reported the case to police said the deceased and his wife Sylvia Twongirwe were having Domestic fights.
Marcial Tumusiime the greater Bushenyi police spokesperson said the scene was visited by team of detectives, processed and relevant witnesses statements recorded.
He said according to preliminary findings, ,the deceased was always tortured by his wife
Tumusiime said the body of deceased was found dressed lying on bed, but It had bruises at the back with some blood coming from mouth.
The body of the deceased was taken to Mbarara referral hospital for postmortem and the wife arrested to help police in investigations.
